Julian Megson vela

October has soon arrived.  So has the realisation that I’m not going to get the boat back into the water this year.  The plan was to launch in September and sail her to a permanent mooring in Liverpool.  But there is still much work to do below the waterline before she can be put afloat.

Ciò detto e che rimangono positive, questi posti di lavoro sono migliori non affrettata. Vorrei essere più deluso – in me stesso – se avessi compromessa la qualità del lavoro per il bene di mettere a galla la sua rapidità. Per fortuna ha prevalso il senso comune e non ho permesso che accadesse, nonostante la tentazione di farlo. Oltre, con Inverno avvicina, Vorrei non essere la vela e la molto più di lei è l'acqua migliore è lei asciugare.

I feel slightly more at ease knowing that there is not much more I could have done to speed things up.  Although I do wonder if I could have found a way.  The weather has been dreadful and has hampered progress and with the usual commitments at home it’s not always possible to get away for a full weekend in order to get stuck in.

Ci sono stati momenti in cui ho trovato me stesso la mia speranza di rimontare con la profondità. Fortunatamente per me, Ho avuto qualche sorprendente aiutare da un buon amico, Duncan, che la bontà è stata schiacciante. Il suo tempo, competenze e know-how sono stati inestimabile. I'm apprendimento per tutto il tempo che vi è di più per la vela, di vela.
