Julian Megson Vela

October has soon arrived.  So has the realisation that I’m not going to get the boat back into the water this year.  The plan was to launch in September and sail her to a permanent mooring in Liverpool.  But there is still much work to do below the waterline before she can be put afloat.

Dicho esto y siendo positivas, estos empleos son mejor no precipitarse. Quisiera ser más decepcionado – en mí mismo – si me hubiera comprometido la calidad del trabajo en aras de su puesta a flote rápidamente. Afortunadamente, el sentido común ha prevalecido y no he permitido que eso suceda, a pesar de la tentación de hacerlo. Además de, con la proximidad del invierno, Yo no se mucho la vela y el que está ya fuera del agua, mejor que se seque.

I feel slightly more at ease knowing that there is not much more I could have done to speed things up.  Although I do wonder if I could have found a way.  The weather has been dreadful and has hampered progress and with the usual commitments at home it’s not always possible to get away for a full weekend in order to get stuck in.

Ha habido ocasiones en las que he encontrado a mí mismo desesperadamente fuera de mi profundidad con la renovación. Afortunadamente para mí, He tenido algunos sorprendente ayuda de un buen amigo, Duncan, la amabilidad que ha sido abrumadora. Su tiempo, habilidad y saber cómo han sido de incalculable valor. estoy aprendiendo todo el tiempo que hay más a la mar, que vela.
